ABOUT THIS TIM BLEVINS
Tim told his first story from atop the stage of an overturned coffee table. Seated in the living room that night were his parents, two siblings and an articulated array of attentive action figures. He has spent every kit-bashed moment since trying to Since then he has strived to maintain and entertain an ever-growing audience in the forms of kit-bashed and self produced efforts.
As an adolescent he was a two-time participant in the ODDFELLOWS YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL before graduating from EMERSON COLLEGE with a BFA in Creative Writing.
He has taught courses on Playwriting at the CAMBRIDGE CENTER FOR ADULT EDUCATION, had a series of plays staged at the BOSTON’S ACTOR’S STUDIO as well as a momentary stint as a failed stand-up comedian.
In the 2010s he wrote and directed the independently produced (and still, sort of unreleased) full length feature film SUBSTITUTE CULTURE. He has also produced and hosted past pop-culture obsessed podcasts 20TH CENTURY POP!, INEXPLICABLE BOOKCLUB and MENAGE A POP all in an attempt to maintain and entertain audience of his thrift-store efforts.
He is currently writing MEDUSA LAROOSA SAYS THE SAYS THE SHOW MUST GO ON, a children’s book about a precocious little gorgon out to stage a a rock concert in her own living room (which might just be based on just a bit of personal experience).
