20th Century Pop! is a podcast that tries to understand the present by living in the past. Each episode hosts Bob and Tim take a sociological look at the pop culture of the '80s and '90s. Its a ruining of their childhood that hopefully explains how they became adults.
TREKKIES was a documentary that practically lived in the VCR of Bob and Tim’s first apartment. As a look at Star Trek’s obsessive fan base it provided them a re-watchability of quotes, inside jokes and general MST3King. But such disparaging words seem odd coming from the hosts of a podcast so focused on the impact of pop culture. And it was with this re-watch that they first began reevaluating their late 90s behaviors. It’s the trouble with quibbles … again!”
