TOP FIVE ALBUMS OF THE 1990S: BOB EDITION

20th Century Popcast is a podcast that tries to understand the present by living in the past.  Each week hosts Bob and Tim take a sociological look at the pop culture of the '80s and '90s.  Its a ruining of their childhood that hopefully explains how they became adults.

LIST-A-RAMA-A-GO-GO: "Its a rattled off hit list of the highest fidelity." (1994-1999)  We can thank Nick Hornby (or curse John Cusack) for that middle-aged, music-snob curation of  "The Dessert Island Top Five."   And, while the typo leans toward a bunch of "Cake" references, Bob and Tim have actually put a lot of thought into compiling this compilation.  So much, in fact, that its going to take TWO episodes to get though.   So man-overboard with Part One ... Bob's definitive discs of the 1990s.
