20th Century Pop! is a podcast that tries to understand the present by living in the past. Each week hosts Bob and Tim take a sociological look at the pop culture of the '80s and '90s. Its a ruining of their childhood that hopefully explains how they became adults.
LIST-A-RAMA-A-GO-GO: “We’re probably not going to talk about Mr. Nanny.” (1992-1995) The 90s gave us blockbuster giants like Jurassic Park and Titanic as well as the indie fare of Pulp Fiction and Being John Malkovich. But which of its films best represents what it was like to bear flannel in that age of sax-blowing presidents and Geocity pop ups? Its the question Bob and Tim are going to warp their brains around as they crown the one sole and official film that best represents what it meant to be what they were in the 1990s. Spoiler alert … we don’t mention Under Siege 2.
